a great way to end my nj mini sessions was with an old high school friend. it had been a REALLY long time since i had seen her. i had never even met her two little ones before!
the best part about these mini sessions was that it was like a little reunion for me. i have known the parents of these beautiful girls for some time. it was great to see them and their gorgeous smiles!
last week i drove a bit further than usual for a session and it was well worth it! this family was just too cute. the colors are just amazing this time of year and i love all the family photos i have been able to do to take advantage of the colors.
this was my 4th time now shooting finn. i love it! it's been great watching him grow up. he's such a cutie and is so lucky to still have those great chunky cheeks. i think he's even used to me being in his face with the camera now.
they were the first family of the day to brave the cold. who knew winter would come so fast or that just the day before it would be snowing?!? this cute family of three is waiting for their fourth!
despite the weather trying to hold us off, i was able to take pictures of this gorgeous family. i met jen soon after having my own son and since then she has added one more to her brood! fall is quickly trying to leave us up here, but we were definitely able to take advantage of some of the colors. thank you for having me over for pictures, it was great to see all of you!
it was a nice change to photograph a family with older children. as much as i love little kids, things move a lot smoother with older kids. sometimes they are a little shy, but i think we did great!
today was my first time meeting both garrett & olivia. how cute are they?? olivia cracked me up and kept trying to run away, but was having a tough time in her tights and boots. garrett was a champ with letting me take his picture.
this is my second time getting to photograph maddy. this time she was not in the mood to play with me though. luckily, both mom and dad worked hard with me to help get happy maddy to play!
i was a little nervous when they pulled up and found out david had fell asleep on the ride over. however, he woke up and pepped right up for me. they pictures turned out great, even though he was a sleepy boy.
in the midst of all the rain we have been getting up here, i was able to get a session it with the cutest family! dad was actually thrilled to be doing pictures and their daughter was adorable. unfortunately, half way through our session the rain came back. in our short amount of time though we got some great shots!
