happy new year!

2009 sure was a great year for me! i can not thank you enough for making my first year in business so amazing! it was really great to meet so many new people too!

2010 will start off for me with a new baby, due at the end of january! we are having a little girl this time and we are so excited. however, with her arrival there will be some changes with brie homer photography. i will not be taking any photo sessions for the months of february and march. as we get used to our newest addition i will continue to take limited sessions for each month of 2010. if you are hoping to have a photo session, please try to book it in advance so that you are able to ensure a session!

better late than never

i somehow managed to forget to post images from the newborn session i did with my own niece. i have no idea how i did this!! i was lucky enough that my sister had me do pictures of her beautiful little girl soon after having her, while i was in new jersey visiting. she is just gorgeous!

it has been awhile since i have had a session, since i am so close to the end of my own pregnancy. however, when the opportunity to photograph a six month old came up i could not say no! i am so glad i did this session. he was the sweetest baby with the most gorgeous eyes! six months is such a fun age! i hope you guys love them, as much as i loved photographing him!

"s" family

on sunday i had a great session with the "s" family. they were quite patient with me, since when i arrived i realized my two year old had been in my camera bag and turned the camera on, leaving me with a dead battery. luckily my spare was in the bag but it too was almost dead. needless to say, i truly appreciated them being so understanding! the session was a great time at a beautiful location! here are their adorable children...

this has been baby week. i was lucky enough to photograph two newborns this week! "muffin man", as his momma called him was the sweetest little thing today. he was a bit stubborn but still a happy camper throughout the session.

a great way to end my nj mini sessions was with an old high school friend. it had been a REALLY long time since i had seen her. i had never even met her two little ones before!

the best part about these mini sessions was that it was like a little reunion for me. i have known the parents of these beautiful girls for some time. it was great to see them and their gorgeous smiles!
